EFSA Developers Portal |
The EFSA Developers Portal is intended to provide users with a unique access point to public scientific data in the EFSA’s operational remit in all fields which have a direct or indirect impact on EU food and feed safety in accordance with the EFSA’s Founding Regulation (EC) No 178/2002. The data accessible through the Developers Portal originate from separate platforms and systems within EFSA’s remit. Some of EFSA’s public data is offered in machine-readable format through Application Programming Interfaces (API) available in the EFSA Developers Portal, a service located at https://developers.efsa.europa.eu. Service Discontinuation |

EFSA reserves the right to discontinue fully or partially the R4EU platform, the Analytics platform or the Developers Portal at any time for any reason in its sole discretion. These Terms of Use shall survive such service discontinuation including the disclaimer and limitations on liability.

EFSA’s goal is to keep the information timely and accurate. If errors are brought to our EFSA’s attention, EFSA will do its utmost to correct them as soon as possible. EFSA accepts no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, any direct or consequential loss or damage that might occur to you and/or any other third party) arising out of, or in connection with the tools and data made available through the R4EU platform, the Analytics platform and the Developers Portal, including information relating to the documents it publishes. EFSA cannot be held liable for errors, inaccuracies or inconsistencies with regard to texts available through the R4EU platform, the Analytics platform and the Developers Portal being different from the scientific and administrative documents officially adopted, issued or endorsed by its responsible governance bodies. However, some tools may have been created or structured in files or formats that are not error-free and EFSA cannot guarantee that its service will not be interrupted or otherwise affected by such problems. Technical characteristics: Personal data processed in the context of the EFSA R4EU platform, the EFSA Analytics platform and the EFSA Developers Portal are stored in Microsoft Azure Cloud, using datacentres and similar facilities located within the European Economic Area. Data controller: The Corporate Services (CORSER) is the controller for the Microsoft Azure AD B2C cloud platform hosting the EFSA R4EU platform, the EFSA Analytics platform and the EFSA Developers Portal. Information security: EFSA has configured Azure AD B2C to allow users to sign in to applications with credentials from external social or enterprise identity providers (IdP). EFSA strongly recommends enabling multi-factor authentication for that account (e.g. https://www.google.com/landing/2step/) and any other security measures recommended by your identity provider. For best privacy and security, EFSA recommends using multi-factor authentication through a mobile app. What are your rights and how can you exercise them? You are entitled to access your personal data and rectify, block or delete these in case the data is inaccurate, incomplete or processed unlawfully by EFSA.
